Do you already have a design or technical drawing of your PET packaging? Then we will print a prototype that allows you to assess shape, grip, label panel, base, cap-fit and shelf presentation. This enables you to quickly verify whether the design meets your wishes and requirements.

Ducona creates a design based on your instructions and visual and functional requirements. Combining your expertise with ours, we determine the optimal wall thickness (wall strength), diameter, height, fill level, neck shape, shoulder height, label area, optimal weight, centre of gravity and other specific properties. You will first receive a digital design and, if desired, a 3D prototype for quick evaluation.
Lightweighting without compromise
Lightweighting is an important part of PET bottle development and part of our daily work. We simulate the effect of weight reduction on the bottle design. Using our 3D models, we immediately test how changes in shape or reductions in material influence grip, stability and filling behaviour.
Fast approval of the final design, short time to market
Our 3D prototypes make every development step visible. You can compare multiple variants side by side and present them internally to teams such as QA, marketing and operations. This prevents costly adjustments to tooling and accelerates the path from idea to production.
From prototype to series production
Once the design is final, we translate the prototype into a (test)production mould. We prepare a clear product specification and ensure a consistent transition to our state-of-the-art machines.
